The Virtual Update Conference is an option for members of the network who are unable to travel to a face-to-face conference to fulfill update requirements. The Virtual Update is built around video of the sessions from the 2019 KUCRL Learning Conference in Lawrence, Kansas. Needless to say, video is not the same as being there, and some videos do have flaws. We have done our best to mitigate this, but expect some problems hearing questions or seeing everything that is happening in the presentation.
SIM Professional Developers must have attended at least one face-to-face conference to qualify to register for a Virtual Conference. Professional Developers may attend a virtual conference in lieu of a face-to-face conference every four years. In the interim, Professional Developers must attend a face-to-face conference to qualify to attend a Virtual Conference again.
The Winter Virtual Update will run from Jan. 13 - Feb. 10, 2020. As part of the update, you will attend one of the following webinars: Times listed are CENTRAL TIME.
As a part of the Update, you will attend an hour long webinar.
WEDNESDAY, Feb. 12, 3:00-4:00PM CENTRAL TIME
THURSDAY, Feb. 13, 10:00AM - 11:00AM CENTRAL TIME
Do not sign up for a virtual if you are unable to attend the webinar.
