Dr. Kimberly Johnson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato where she teaches courses on instructional design for inclusive settings. She was a special education teacher in the public school system for 20 years prior to completing her Ph.D. in educational psychology and special education. In the K-12 school system, she taught elementary, middle, and high school students with disabilities in a variety of service delivery settings. As a veteran teacher, she provided support for colleagues on issues related to instructional design, student behavior, and classroom management.
