SIMposium Session: Fundamentals of Paragraph Writing: A New Program

Session Description:

This session will focus on a new program for teaching paragraph writing to elementary students. The program is complete with an instructor’s manual, student learning sheets, a PowerPoint presentation for each lesson, many handouts, and other visual aids. This new program will be compared and contrasted to the current Paragraph Writing Strategy Program, which was developed for secondary students. Results of a field test will be shared. Issues related to implementation will be discussed.
