Joe Fisher

Joseph B. Fisher is a professor of special education in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Grand Valley State University. He is a former middle-school special education teacher, and he continues to provide instruction to children with disabilities in K-12 schools alongside his graduate and undergraduate students. He has a particular interest in the research and development of instructional practices to improve the reading and writing abilities of struggling learners.
