Session Description:
Writing is often difficult for students with learning disabilities. These students struggle to organize thoughts, write connected paragraphs, and use complicated sentences. Also, they struggle with writing conventions like punctuation. Research has shown that the gap between the writing skills of students with learning disabilities and those without is largest in the area of writing conventions. In this session, validated strategies for improving the punctuation skills of students with learning disabilities will be shared.
