SIM Reading Strategies

One strand of SIM Learning Strategies focuses on enhancing students’ reading comprehension skills. This strand includes targeted strategies that teach students how to paraphrase key information, visualize content to deepen understanding and retention, generate questions and make predictions while reading, and decode unfamiliar words within a text. These strategies equip students with practical tools to become more active, strategic, and confident readers.
